DTE Energy turned on 110Mw wind farm in Mich. 1.6Mw GE turbines. 10 full-time jobs. Comp will add another 110Mw in Mich by end of '13. ~$500M for both farms. For 20+ permanent jobs. They expect to add ~1Gw of more clean energy by '15.

Next Era Energy Canada completed 23Mw wind farm in Ontario. 10 Siemens turbines. 1st of 8 projects they are to bring online by '16 in Ontario for ~$1.5B. So, 60 more permanent jobs.

Forest Service: in US, forests absorb/store some 750M metric tons of CO2 annually, ~10% of country's emissions.

NY Gov says $250M available for broad range of clean/renewable energy projects in Energy Highway Blueprint program to upgrade energy infrastructure. Administered by NYSERDA through state's RPS. Recipient announcements expected by summer.
