THOUGHT (HOPEFULLY WISE)

Iran. It's getting tenser. 2 carriers now in Arabian Sea. Out of 11. What is overwhelming force? I think another 2 carriers. We can't let them think they can shut down Hormuz. Or let fly any missiles. And the US keeps bearing the cost. What's new? Shouldn't the oil producing countries there in the Gulf anti up? You would think. It's like how the cold war was. It sucks. But has to be done. It's not the Iranian people. It's the theocrats in charge who choose martyrdom as the path to paradise. Like "nuts" on Facebook, right?

FRIDAY CLOSE

(stock #'s in %)

Market down 48/14/6. Coming back up at the end. Volume normal. Oil below $99.

France and Austria lost their trip-A rating and 7 other Euro countries were downgraded. Remember, these are the rating agencies that gave the bundled mortgages triple-A because they were paid to. But we can't set aside the Euro "crisis".

AETI up 2. Back to their highs. Been going straight up for a year and doubled. (Something a little sinister, though, is going on with Yahoo Finance portfolio pages lately and even TD Ameritrade charts. Yahoo is giving wrong numbers for 52-week highs and lows - but not on all stocks. And some strange numbers on other parameters. Even on their new pages. And Ameritrade chart for AETI shows they are at their high, but I remember them higher last month. Kind of disturbing.)

ENER ended up 63. Reached the top 200-day line, came back to under both 200's. Near 5x from bottom for the month so far. AMPD got their valuation back, up 48. NGBF up 41. Who knows. SOPW up 30 on big volume. Over all lines, over triple from mid-Dec. Might want to keep an eye on that. DSTI up 29 on big volume. Breakout from 50-day lines, already close to 200-days. They may have a few more days' run. SPIR up 27. Another break over 50-day lines with volume. LEOM ended up 26, back to highs after hitting bottom 200-day line. But nominal volume - 2.2k shares. WEST up 23. Escape over 50-day lines on big volume. UBRG up 20. They had news release. But with NG glut, where are they going? XSNX up 20. Churning on 50-day lines. ASTI up 15, over 50-day lines. AMLM up 11. QTWW up 9, belated reaction to latest news? OOIL up 8 on their news, flying under 50-day lines.

MGLT down 42, back to 12 cents. Trading range. Despite the news of late. CSKH down 26 on low volume. Do they survive? They have sales. BHWX down 20. Don't know if they can survive either. TSLA down 19. Owee Howee. Back to bottom. I haven't seen news yet. O, an exec departed. Might be buy opportunity. At least short-term. CRGE finished down 17, the rise broken. CGYV down 13. CPWY down 12. XDSL down 12 on high volume. Do they survive? JASO down 9. CSIQ down 8. HSOL down 8, double from bottom already.

PPRW flat at 25 cents. I wonder when they get attention.

JUST THOUGHTS

The president we need now would come from a groundswell. From experience in leadership that we look to. Well, right now Obama has the experience of leadership from the catbird seat. Who do we really want to sit in that seat? Mitt? Rick? Ron? Newt? Trump? O Lord. We want the Lord. Maybe if we pray hard enough...

Things you can't make up... US Navy rescued Iranians from Somalian pirates while Iran practices shutting down Hormuz. Yea like Sauds, Kuwaitis, Iraqis, UAE are going to put up with Iran shutting down Hormuz. Let alone the rest of the world. What are those people thinking? Are they doing drugs? Just get that story out around the world ... US Navy rescued Iranians from Somalian pirates while ...

I know. I'm asking for a 3rd thought. Today the story goes was Jesus' circumcision. Well. That can't be. Jesus was conceived on December 25th. Not born until late September. So what is January 6 about really? 14 days from conception? NFL playoffs? Yea, you guessed it, getting a little loose here at clean energy land.

O yea. Clean energy. Who wants it? Democrats? Rebels? The stocks have been decimated even in just the last year and there is talk of taking away all the pure play clean energy stocks in buyouts by the big boys. Well, would clean energy thrive then? It seems to me if people won't invest in pure play clean energy stocks that they will go away. And then. And then clean energy will come if it is economical. Which it is. Which begs one to question WHY AREN'T PEOPLE PAYING ATTENTION AND INVESTING IN CLEAN ENERGY?

OK. That brings us to this. Clean energy investors have been decimated. Even in just the past year. And way too many people have WAY to little money. And too FEW people have WAY too much money. But that must be what has to happen before the Lord's day. Or part of.

Well, pards, I'm sailing a couple sheets to the wind. It's been fun communicatin' to y'all. And actually amazing how we can do that on the netweb. So. Happy trails. Pleasant dreams. May the wind be at your back. Onward and upward.
