Researchers found process to turn NG into energy 70x faster. NC State U. 70x! ID'd new ox carrier that allows chem looping process to occur up to 70x faster while providing means to capture CO2 released. Carrier made from mixed ionic electronic conductor held within nano matrix of iron oxide that releases ox atoms faster, increasing rate of reaction. By products include water vapor, CO2. By condensing water vapor they found they can insolate, concentrate CO2 for capture.
