THOUGHTS WITH GIN .... What if Trump got a hair makeover? And, OK, let's DO elect a billionaire and see what a billionaire can do as POTUS. Just for kicks. How about Bill Gates for Vice President? Or vicey versey. Warren Buffet Secretary of State. Elon Musk head of DOE. Zuckerburg heading up intel. Or the guys heading up Apple, Microsoft or Intel. Let's make America great again. What American doesn't like that? .... Switching gears. 68% wouldn't re-elect Obama. That's constitutional amendment territory. Why is he so disliked? The Republican black neurosurgeon Carson is coming up in polls. So it's not because Obama's black. OK, it's his personality or policies. Or both. Or combo with Republican desparagement. Who likes Affordable Care Act? Who likes our troops pulled out of the war? Who likes the new EPA Clean Power Plan? Who likes the Iran nuke deal? And o so many Obama decisions .... New gear. Hottest July globally on record: NASA. Anecdotal global warming keeps sticking its hot head up out of the proverbial sand. Just look at air pollution in China. Killer heat waves all over our globe this summer. Oceans filling up with CO2, acid, heat, trash, Fukushima plutonium. How do we want our environment? Is it about willing to live with what kills us? Or making an atmosphere, earth, oceans that takes us back only hundreds of years .... Thoughts. Ruminations. Things of gossamer .... Next number gear. 3 weeks from now I won't even be thinking at this time on Sunday. I will be watching pro football on TV. TV. There are people who don't even watch TV. There are people who draw water from toxic ponds trying to survive. People who are dodging bullets and insane terror to stay alive. People trying just to feed their children and themselves .... Our world, folks, pards, is nowhere close to what we want it to be. My prob is all I do is write about it. I, uh, repotted my plants lately into bigger pots. I, uh, keep writing about clean power and environment and politics and such. But I sure want to do more. And I'm 68. I'm sure you guys feel a lot the same .... Last gear. They say God at anytime can do the rapture. All believers moved up to Heaven. And then the Tribulation starts. There are other thoughts on the end. The antichrist shows up looking like Jesus back in Jerusalem. World war is averted. Then 3 witnesses are slain in the street in Jerusalem and 3 days later rise and then Jesus comes and we are all translated into spirits. Well. We will find out. If we don't die first ....
