US WIND POWER NOW OVER 75GW

16% of GHGs' (Greenhouse gases) impact on world's atmos is from methane. 1/3 of that is from cattle production. (Cow farts.) Over 1B cattle in world. Each emits ~500 liters/day of methane. (I've said this before several times: we need cow fart bags. Farmers/ranchers suck them out into a tank when those cows come home. The cows may not like the bags at first. But they'll get used to them. And the methane can be used for heating or power or sold. And yea, there's urine and feces in the bag as well. But they can - and should - be changed every day.) Yip, it's been a fun proposal. I could take it on the farmers' convention circuit. All over the world.

Chile has a $17M solar power tender.

India tendering 20Mw solar + power storage.

Mid American Energy (Buffett) going ahead with $3.6B, 2Gw wind project in Iowa.

Invenergy closed on finance for 50Mw solar project.

Sony entering EV battery making industry.

German biogas company gone bankrupt. (Maybe the cow fart market could have saved them.)

1st US LNG shipment reached China.

OPEC pumped record in August.

Putin pushing for OPEC production freeze with Iran exemption.

O, by the way, Iran nuclear deal commission granted Iran exemptions to allow lifting sanctions. (G, will Trump catch that one for his diatribe?)

Kurds refusing Baghdad plan to export Kurd oil by trucks to Iran. (Go Kurds. Eat your weigh. I know. It's "whey". They are real fighters like US special forces.)

Radioactive waste found at oil field landfill in N Dakota.

Chevron started offshore natgas production in Indonesia. (Didn't get the number.)

US oil rig count up 1 this week. Natgas count up 7.

Well, a big US holiday weekend. Celebration of labor. I always thought it was for women giving birth. But, alas, it's for anyone who works. Go figure.

Happy celebration, pards. And may our labor be used for good. May the force be with us.
