Iberdrola cancelled 2 wind power projects in PA. 64 turbines total. BP Wind Energy and Sempra to build 140MW wind farm in PA. $300M. Online by yearend. Ever Power Wind Holdings has 30 turbine farm in site prep, ground broken for 17 turbine farm to be online by yearend and another 32 turbine farm now online, all in PA.

Pilgrim nuke in Mass current op license weeks from expiring. But they can op past expire as long as it takes NRC to decide on 20-yr extension. Meanwhile, the plant operator sent half of workforce home in labor contract disagreement.

Johnson Controls says retrofit biz heating up with energy performance contracting and property assessed clean E (PACE) financing models. PACE adds costs of retro to bldg's property tax for 20 yrs. Didn't fly for residential, but now caught on with commercial property.
