GRAPHENE REPORT

Graphene Labs has graphene foam materials with high surface area. Potential applications in energy storage, chem sensing.

Korea Research Institute of Chem Tech and a Seoul university have discovered graphene-based photocatalyst that significantly improves efficiency of artificial photosynthesis systems. Graphene coupled to a porphyrin enzyme converts sunlight and CO2 into formic acid.

mPhase Tech (XDSL) and Stevens Institute of Tech to jointly design, build new batt combining XDSL's nanobatt tech and Stevens' graphene-based inkjet printing method for printing electrodes and el circuits.

U of Arkansas researchers have studied and controlled the transition - normally random - from graphite to graphene. Technique called electrostatic manipulation scanning tunneling microscopy, uses moving surface.

Stanford U researchers have increased charge/discharge rate of nickel-iron batt by nearly 1K times by adding graphene to nickel-iron mix. Full charge in 2 min, discharge in <30 sec.
