Minnesota slipped from 5th to 7th among states with wind generation.

Ohio near 4x'd wind gen in '12.

OK lifted into 4th among states for wind power installs in '12.

Kansas went from 14th to 9th.

Pacific G&E announced "Enhanced Green Energy" option to give el customers opportunity to support 100% clean energy. Would provide customers with el from small, mid-sized solar projects in service area.

Xcel Energy's Wind Source Program - allows customers to buy wind energy - over 1Gwh since '83 - getting major push lately from business. Residential buying staying steady. Up 38% avg last 5 yrs.

Largest solar farm in Delaware - 15Mw - turned on. 43.8Mw now installed in state. juwi solar (Germany) bought the partly-developed project last year, finished it out. $50M cost.

ReneSola (SOL) won 1.8Mw Roswell, NM contract to supply solar panels. S&C El to build farm.

Idaho Power says solar won't be significant part of their power mix for next 20 yrs unless costs come down. Others say customers will put up capital  for solar installs if IP will work with them. IP wanting to meet much of demand growth next 2 decades from building transmission line to bring in power from Oregon, Washington. Also looking at new NG-fired power plants and increased efficiency. Proposing raising costs, limiting reimbursements for some solar-generating customers.

KY Power's first step to diversify power from coal a 58Mw biomass plant proposal. Wood feedstock. 7% add to rates when online in '17.

Since '88, Alaska oil production down 73%. If North Slope production falls below 350Kb/d, AK could be forced to shut down pipeline. Way things going, could happen before '20.

AMEC (Atlanta) completed 1st 17Mw of Foothills solar plant near Yuma. 1st ever solar on AZ State Trust Land. Remaining 18Mw online by end of '14.
