MONDAY

Last Thursday the Dow and the S&P got all the way back to their 200-day lines. Friday they went back down. The Naz is still above the 200's. Seems to say we're headed back down. But I'm not predicting anything.

I reported from the Wall St Journal last week that the Coast Guard said the oil leak was plugged. Obviously they had only meant it was drilling mud coming out, not oil. Until that failed. Question is, is any national leader going to call for a "moon shot" program to get EV's and their needed clean electrical generation and non food-based biofuels going to replace oil?

World solar PV demand to grow 58% in '10. US wind est. installs '10 is 6.3-7MW. '09 was 9.8MW.

India Q1 GDP up 8.6%.

GE at last getting US wind turbine contracts. Latest for Lake Erie outside Cleveland. Whom here remembers the Cuyahoga River on fire? Pretty much started Earth Day. And a day after this year's Earth Day we got the Gulf oil spill. The history of environmental consciousness could be a book by now.

Gov of Maine wants to build 5 gigs of tidal power. THAT's a go!

Is it ever unbelievable department: BP just hired former head of public affairs at DOE for PR. I'm starting to think BP will declare bankruptcy. And just walk away from that dam hole. No. I guess that 's really too despairacle. Despairacle: A despairable debacle.. Use in sentence. I just did. Could BP be trying to keep oil prices up by extending this oil spill? That would be worse than despairacle. That would be evil. Evil: don't even want to think about it. Use in sentence: Did again.

Reports that Duke Energy - Doo-kee - is putting squeeze on solar in SEast.

And that's Memorial Day 2010 as I found it. Remember anyone you know who ever served. And honor their service.

EVCA up 21. BFRE up 14. ECOS up 13. DSTI up 13. RVBF up 14. And others. No big downs. Biggest downs are AMSC, BWEN, AEHI.

It's just stupid the market is even open. Everybody's off to the mountains or shores. Drives one to drink who cannot vacation. O but, you never know what evil lurks in the last hour.

And now, as I write, FDEI is down 19 I would guess on one little sale.

And Gulf nuze: BP fired the junk shot overnight. And obviously the Coast Guard spoke too early yesterday that it was plugged. But we all do hope. Except the oil lovers who want $200 oil or better.

Well, big up to be sure. But analysts saying maybe a little more then we head back down.

SPWRA ended up 22. BIOF up 20. Corn ethanol. Yuk. FDEI up 20 on very thin volume. AEHI up 12. PLUG came back 16 from yesterday. They announced restructuring and layoffs. Over 100 jobs lost. Unfortunate. But this company has been bleeding over $10M a quarter the last year and much more for years and years. They have some business of fuel cells for forklifts. APWR up 10. ULBI up 8. BYDDF up 7. I thought they'd do better. But that joint venture news didn't seem to get picked up by other newswires. I think I saw it on WSJ or Bloomberg.

AWNE down 25. HLXW down 22 again. EVCA down 24. GBRC back down 14 after yesterday's up. Likewise, VCTZF back down 20 and PSRU back down 9.

BYDDF. Warren Buffett's Chinese battery-EV maker has formed a joint venture with Daimler to make and sell EV's in China. The stock is at it's year low. Catch it early. Good ruck.

Looks like we have a big move up at the open. So much for my prediction of it going lower today. They say it's because of China backing Europe up. I don't know, I still think there's some more downside to come.

OVERNIGHT

(stock #'s in %)

COMV's CEO sees profit in 2013. G, how assuring. At least he's honest. Yes, these are trying times. But when do CEO's wake up. Investors need profits. Or walk.

AONE bounced up 11. Bottom processing. BWEN up 4 after hours. CABN was up 17. Q1 reported. Still not 1 dollar in revs. Can you love this market? ECOS was up 17. News. First of all, they are a "network of environmentally-focused technology companies that utilize nanotechnology to develop alternative energy solutions". Today they announced a joint venture in the Netherlands to produce the lithium X battery. This definitely sounds like a company to watch.

ECTY went down 5. They have the plug-in units and $100M from the US gov for the Nissan Leaf and Nissan announced today or yesterday that their entire Leaf production scheduled has been sold. 19,000 or some. Come on. Build the dam things. O yea, Nissan just got a $1.4B US loan to build a lith-ion battery plant in Tennessee for the Leaf and probably other models and makers. The $1.4B is part of the $25B for advanced vehicles passed by Congress in '07. '07. Did I say '07.

GBRC up 17. Broke over their 50-days. Microwave tech to recover fossil fuels from just about anything including oil shale and oil sands. But. Last reported Sept '09 very little revs.

HOKU reported in after close. Bad. Down 10 after.

Morgan Joseph reits its buy on CREE with $100 target. I say buy LSCG.

Cumulative world installed solar PV capacity '00: 1,400MW; '10: 32,000MW; '20 est.: 292,000MW.

HLXW ended up down 5. PLUG down 16. That's reality long time coming. Never ever made a profit or even thought about it. WNDT 10. OOGI 12. HOKU down 10 after hours after reporting in. FDEI down 6. CBWP down 27. AKNS down another 2. But, really, with the market fall off, not too much down.

I'm betting the market opens lower. And goes lower. Actually, I'm not betting that. I'm betting the best clean energy stocks go up. But I think the market is going lower.

Heck, LSCG just had another 20 up. Doesn't seem all that mysterious, does it?

Looks like BSRC is turning around.

And now we're going back down.

I 'm thinking BWEN is at bottom.

Did I mention BWEN?

Maybe AKNS

MIDDAY

(stock #'s in %)

Feels like the long weekend is moseying in. Though. Memorial Day is only in USA. But I can feel the players heading off to vacation. And I can't see what June is going to look like yet. Some help, huh.

QTWW now up 21. Probing their 50-days. PSRU up 19. They contracted "Mr Gadget" to hawk their dimmable CFLs and other lighting. SOLF up 15. ECNG came back down. Up 9. HLXW and LMCO both came all the way back down. LSCG up 11. Probably headed to $10 within months (now over $2). ECOS up 17. Carbon nano tubes for energy aps. But still no revs. FEWP up 15 on news item.

CBWP down 27. Fickle finger of daily market fate. WNDT down 15. Up and down they go.

SLTZ just jumped to up 32. They bought another company, announced today. Not the one that the stock zoomed up on weeks ago. That's still pending. And ZAAP just went down 9. Bonafide EV maker.

EVCA just jumped. Up 33. NEWN up 6 now.

EVCA up 52. It's really hard to see all the bulls coming. Read their report. So they buy and sell new and used EVs and hybrids?

Now up 73. What the hell? O yea, technicals before fundamentals. Well, start funding mentals.

Now up 88. Either they have news and doing insider trading or buyers have gone insane. Or. Wall St. moves whom they want to move when they want to move them and we're just blades of grass under their feet. At best. And I guess that's just the world we have to live in. EVCA ended down 37. PSRU down 23. ZAAP down another 13. Ditto BWEN. VCTZF down 29. SOPW down 20. AKNS down 7. BSRC and NPWZ down 10.

HLXW ended up 20. Lined up more financing. Going to make small vertical axis wind turbines. The largest 5kw - about enough for average home use. BFRE up 14. Technical bounce. NENE up 13. Who knows why, though interesting product development to be sure. WNDT up 11. POWR up 5, AMSC up 3, both on news.

SOLF reports tomorrow before the open. They'll report a profit v loss year ago. Possible they'll spark a short rally in Chinese solars, maybe even some American. SOLF may be the best gamble. Down 4 today so far. Chart looks good for a jump up. NENE up 12. Just cuz I guess. FDEI up 12. SLTZ up 5. AEHI up 6.

VCTZF down 29. BSRC now down 15. AKNS now down to 80 cents. I guess Westinghouse brand doesn't matter. APWR down to $7.

We may see 9k Dow faster than thought. Actually, this had to happen. The quicker it's over with the better. But don't be surprised if we get down to the 7k level by winter for the full double bottom. The world fundamentals are pretty scary. But I hate being negative real. Anyway, clean energy fundamentals are still rosier.

PSRU down 27. Not a good day to come out with a lousy quarterly. XSNX down 17. Again, who knows when they will have sales. BSRC down another 10. Should turn around soon. NPWZ down 7. Definitely on their low. Ah, HLXW finally let's us know why they jumped 50%. Another financing deal. Down 8. Isn't that insider trading? I guess everybody does it. BWEN down 7. SPWRA down 6. ASTI down 6.

BFRE up 9. AEHI up 2. NENE up 2. And POWR up 3 on $30M contract. All hope is not lost.

REAL CLOSE

(stock #'s in %)

OK, let's try what made sense and what didn't. GCHT up 13 made sense. Q1 out did OK. Little wind in China. LMCO up 18 I guess you could say that made sense. HLXW up 29. At least it came back. Maybe news coming they are not telling yet. G, what's that? Insider trading? O who cares these days huh?

BSRC down 13. That makes sense. In stupid world. FDEI down 15. That actually makes sense. And probably won't go lower. But you never know. EVCA down 30. Yes, percent. Makes sense cuz LMCO and Tesla-Toyota and somebody else is light years ahead of what they're doing (used EV lots?). WNDT down 10. Sense. What wind are they taming? We get real companies and we get charlatans. Not sure here yet on WNDT. RSOL down 8. No sense in my brain. AKNS down 9. Just seems like a good buy price. But what do I know. BWEN down 7 looks like quick double bottom. SPWRA down another 3. They say it makes sense. WWEI down 29. Sense. Since they don't tell us of any business and now way below a cent. And MDTL down 18. Same story. I guess their fuel cells don't sell. We never hear a dam thing. Stealth is one thing. Letting your stock go to hell is something else. Well, that's the come and the go.

EARLY CLOSE

(stock #'s in %)

Might as well close early. People still haven't wakened up to clean energy. It's just like any other market still today to Wall Steet, Main Street and Home Street. HLXW came back to 28. LMCO up 21. Can't buy into the Tesla-Toyota deal of course. Well, I don't recommend Toyota anymore, though we bought one in 1970 because of low emissions (tiny motor).

EVCA (now bulletin board) down 31. WNDT down 15. So much for wind theme. WWEI (wind) down 29. Going to hell apparently. And my fave, BSRC, down 13. Well sure, they went up so much so fast on what? Production started and sales of a bio product (castor beans) to replace a fossil product for solar panels. O boo. Kick them bad.

MIDDAY

Low volume. And back to flat Dow. Probably the whole week will be the same going into Memorial Day. Just like the summer market. Normally. But, of course, these are not normal times. At least no more major bad news so far, though we are keeping nutcase watch on N Korea.

So. How be the cleans. HLXW - Helix Wind - now up 49. Still no why. LMCO up 20. LSCG up 15. They won't be going down. Well, unless the market implodes. GCHT up 15. New Chinese wind comp today reported $11M rev and the Chinese standard 10% profit. Coming off a bottom dip. Seems a wind theme today, A? Duke even signed up for 300 more MW. NEWN up 7, bouncing off its 200-days.

BSRC down 7. ECNG down 6. ECTY down 6. RSOL down 6, dipping under 50-days. And BFRE down 12. Getting cheapy. Cellulosic eth.

And by the time I finish, the Dow is back down 26.

Breaking news - I reported on Friday that MKTY was good to buy at present level. But I just red that MTI Micro (fuel cell subsid) is in cash crunch. Well, that's not any news for any fuel cell company. But it could be bad news to buy MKTY now.

Coming up off bottom. OOGI up 10. And AEHI up 11. Breaking through their 10-day lines (the "50's" and "200's" on a ten-day chart).

SUNDAY

Credit Suisse lowered price targets Friday on SPWRA, FSLR and JASO (plus some NYSE solars). A little behind the curve, I'd say. These 3 are way down from latest highs and are probably on or near their bottoms. Yes, Germany feed-in tariffs are cut back in July and Europe currency hits margins already coming down from over supply and competition. But solar industry overall to grow 40% more this year and it won't stop there. Also, some are predicting mergers and acquisitions within the industry. FSLR has cost advantage and size still, though a couple privately-held comps will eat into it on price competiveness. The report left out SOLF, which may be the most attractive upside short-term. CSIQ's quarterly comes out soon and though they will report a profit v loss last year it may not make analysts' precall of 19 cents/sh.

SATURDAY

OOGI. Odyssey Oil & Energy. Up 22% yesterday. I said I didn't have a clue. Actually, they have a pilot plant demonstrating their tech of algae production with carbon capture. One of the best techs going forward I think. Algae for biofuel grown faster with the CO2. Carbon taken out, oxygen put in air. Got to love that. S. Africa comp. No revs yet but next step is commercial plant. One to watch.

Also had no clue on GAEC, Down 33%. Gulf Alternative Energy Corp. One of the most opaque comps in the list. They say they're "focused" on developing and constructing cellulosic ethanol technologies. Only numbers found are $30K cash , $300K debt and 2M shares. No news ever. I probably won't ever mention them again until they show up with something. Cellulosic is good. But these guys don't look like the leaders.

SLMU. Salamon Group. Down 23% I reported. They apparently are developing a wireless "electrical power generator". Sounds Tesla-esque. Their plan is to buy a Vegas casino to fund their research and development. It gets better. They had $25 cash and assets as of March 31.

Then I mentioned GAZU down 22%. Gazoo Energy Group. Development stage to "develop green energy techs". They might be making money soon though. They're involved with California's PACE energy program that starts June 2 with $95M. GAZU will at least be doing energy auditing for Pacific Housing Finance Agency. The entire program is several billion bucks funded with muni bonds.

And one more yesterday: PMSV down 14%. Power Save Energy. They offer "energy-saving devices" for residential, commercial and industrial customers. They're in California. So they also might make money from the PACE program. They also retail PV and wind products. They have revs, though off last Q, and nominal losses. Rev of $4.7M '09. Book value of 5 cents, according to Yahoo. Kind of interesting here. They install capacitors to capture lost energy from inductive motors in the house or facility.

Well, so far the avalanche and or waterfall of the markets has been plugged. Unlike the well in the Gulf. Sometimes I guess we have to embrace a go nowhere market. But AONE down another 4. ZAAP down 12. BSRC down 12. AKNS down 3. VLNC down 4. MKTY down 22. SPWRA down 4.

After 4P
It jumped up 100 on Dow right there at the end so we start with ups. EVCA up 60. The winner. PEIX up 30. Hate corn ethanol but they fell a lot and a lot of corn growers love it. Well, whatever it takes to make food prices go up, A? Besides hurt the environment. WWEI came back 28. Good for them huh. Up 25. We have AQNM. They announced some news today. Wave power. Let's all do a wave. RNNM. EV maker appparently. WNDT. Windtamer. OK. Back and forth. OOGI up 22. Not a clue. INKN up 20. Some sort of clue. Quantom dots for solar. FDEI up 18. KNDI up 16. EV's. AXTG up 15. Up 50% on year there. AXPW up 13. Just reporting. LMCO up 13. SOLF - O, a real stock - up 11.

PWAZ down 50. Trading range, as far as I can figure. GAEC down 33. Nope. No clue. SLMU down 23. Isn't that a college? MKTY down 22. Now I understand this company. Well, reassurance today. So far. The 3rd Fridays sometimes have wild afternoons though. Not sure if this a triple witcher or not. Of indeces, Naz is the only one back above 200-day lines. But a nice recovery so far. Possibly a good development with the Gulf current and the oil getting to the Keys' coral reefs or Cuba or Bahamas or wherever. But ten days from hurricane season. Plug the dam well now BP or the USA will do it for you. That's what king robear would say today. Well, that's my poobah. Huzzuh.

LSCG up 21. LEDs man. SOLF up a strong 11. GCEH, a symbol from the recent past, up 37. Jatropha in Mexico for biodiesel. UBRG, of the same time frame as GCEH, up 11. Natgas and clean E. And, importantly, big positive income and profit change. ASTI up 4 off a nice little W (double bottom). They're fairly close to revs if I remember correctly. Thin film solar. FDEI up 18, but low volume. CSIQ up 4 has fallen off. Maybe not out of their weeds yet. EVCA up 50. Someone's playing it huh. CSGH up 11. Another China batt maker. Hit hard lately along with other China comps. APWR and BWEN up 6. EMKR up 5.

SPWRA down 2. May see $10 before all the selling is flushed. Especially if market's going down another 10%. And who says it couldn't go down more? Or back up from here? Though the more it goes down the more we will see the W bottom recovery out of the reckless playing with depression our financial giants and government (with deregulation) gave us. O yea, stocks. BSRC down 8. May be done with its comebackdown. The bio backsheets for solar cells/panels. Production started. Good volume. AEHI down 7. NENE down 10. NEWN down 6. NPWZ down 10. SPWRA up 4. VCTXF up 17. Kennedys for ya. WWEI down 21. Are they live or Memorex?

S&P is busted, Dow has found its 200-days and under now. Only Naz is still above its 200's. Seems too soon to pick up bargains. BSRC down 19. LSCG up another 15 though. VLNC up 1 on contract news. APWR down another 8. CSIQ down 6 more.

Will there be good news to turn this around? Doubt it. April leading indicators came in down .01%. Again, a 20% correction from the recent highs gives a Dow of about 9k. Maybe another month to get there. Then the elections start to gear up, so more fire added to the fire. But also by then we may have the financial reform bill passed and maybe even the cap and trade energy bill which would give carbon a price. Which would bring investors back to clean energy because coal then would be as much as wind and closer to solar. Anyway, looks so far like a good day in cash. Obviously, I've never shorted a stock.

NPWZ down 13, back at its low. LSCG up only 5 now. NEWN down 8, sitting on its 200-days. AEHI down 9.

OVERNIGHT

(stock #'s in %)

Singapore Q1 GDP up 16%. Somebody's doing well. Oil back over $70. China cracks down on stimulus graft. Hm. What's US doing? Got nowhere on bank reg bill today in Congress. More mortgage deliquencies. About 8% of homeowners close to or in foreclosure. Lot o pain.

SOLR reported FY and Q and was up 5 after hours. They beat on revs and margins and lifted guide on next year net. Revs could double next 2-5 yrs. Backlog down 23% from last yr. APWR (down another 5) another turnaround candidate. BWEN (down 4) one more. FDEI ended up back at $.016. Technicals (prices) are usually evident before fundamentals it's said. This could be double bottom for them. Volume's back.

Well, I guess I do see LSCG now. They have an LED bulb to replace 60W incandescents in the low $30 range. That's half of Phillips' bulb. LSCG's uses 9W and lasts 23 years. How do they know 23 years? Anyway, they have another LED line that retails under $20. Paybacks in under 2 years. Over 400M 60W bulbs sold in US every year. You won't see their bulbs at the Family Dollar though. They'll be at lighting distributors or can be bought directly from the company by Q3 this year. Now all they have to do is learn how to make a profit.

I red EVCA's Q report and it doesn't look that good to me. But, as is said, technicals precede fundamentals.

When will somebody plug that dam oil pipe? This is unbelievable. Oil in the marshes now. Everything dies. BP's buying some of Kevin Costner's water/oil vacuums that separates the two. O, but a month in. Heads should roll.

Well, happier trails pards, pardettes.

BSRC up another 84. EVCA up 60. LSCG up 35 more. What did anyone see in their Q1 that I didn't? AEHI down 27. About it. And did we not say the S&P would close above 1110? But we're not saying what happens tomorrow yet. Yet.

EIA reports US CO2 emissions by yearend to be down 8.5% from '05 levels. Jeez, how the heck did that happen? Recession partly. But how about that clean energy folks? EIA also projects wind at 5% of El gen in '12, all clean E at 14% "thanks be to Obama stimulus". Then check Doosche Banco: oil to hit $175/b by '16. You want the truth or the sugar wheat?

Let's look see the winners. BSRC up 55. EVCA up 35. LSCG up 33. Everybody else the louzerz. Revised open post says buy BSRC. No matter that it doubled yesterday.

Is it always this way? 1 or 3 companies up huge, the rest all trash? BSRC up 73. EVCA up 60. LSCG up 34. And the rest are trashed today. Especially AEHI down 26.

That's all right. I'll get over it. Wish I would have made that buy on BSRC yesterday morn though.

I used to get depressed when I would see this kind of wealth lost and stupidity bred. But now I know the market is the real world. And what "corrections" do is test commitment, devotion, knowledge, bank accounts, honesty, focus, craziness, guts and wisdom, among everything else. So I spotted y'all a couple percents more on my prediction earlier that certain solars have been beaten up enough. Enough is enough as we say. And here we have EVCA back 40. We have BSRC up another 30. LSCG another 5. As FDEI is also holding.

Other than those mentioned solars, we have AEHI down 14. AFPW down 12. NTCXF down 10. UBRG down 14. APWR, BWEN each down 6 if you like wind. AKNS down 5. INKN down 18. NPWZ down 6. NEWN down 5. And ECNG down 3. Oops, FDEI just lost 10. And here's craziness right here: AEHI down 20. And if their news is honest and true, a 1GW nuke brings in at least $8B (though we're talking China labor), and even if AEHI cut is 10% go figure. And wasn't there news of the Idaho plant? Finally, they're back on their 200-d's. Smack back.

O yah, forgot. We're at peak ocean fish. And then let's add who knows how many thousands of barrels of oil a day to the Gulf of Mexico. Happy hunting.

I am in awe of these folks bringing clean energy to our table of cornucopia.

INKN down 26. Where to buy it I don't know yet. NTCXF down 19. Now under its 50-d's. EVCA shot back, up 20. BSRC up 13 more. FDEI up another 5. VLNC up 4.

EVCA down 20. Wild swings. MKTY down 19. Bonked off its 50-d's again. NPWZ down 11. SLTZ too. SPWRA down another 4. Amazes me. AMSC down 5 on Citi downgrade. Gotta love that. Taxpayers had to bail out Citi and now Citi doesn't like superconduction. CSIQ down another 3 and 2 more afterhours.

And lo, Germany banned naked shorts. And "they" say that dropped the Euro. Which apparently is dropping all other markets. Oil under $69. Yea, I'd say we're in correction.

STUFF

Apparently, I was wrong to say the Iran-Turkey-Brazil deal was good. USA-Russia-China and others say no it was not today. Aren't we all just trying to get along and be able to bring home some beans by the end of the day?

There are so many companies now. Green companies. And investors don't have any money left since the debacle of '08. JUHL, for instance, reiterated their 1Q - up 300% revs and such - and they're still down even with all the private ownership. And it seems Wall St loves betting against everybody. No wonder they almost pulled us into a second depression. And our government. Our government. Perhaps I digress.

Porky is going to put solar into Yosemite at $8/W. Who gets the contract not mentioned. Sorry. Don't mean to be objectionable. It's only half a Mw. Good for 100 homes with LED's and Energy Star appliances. But we can't afford pork any mork. Too bad. Way too bad for grandkids who will never know what pork was like.

Man, ever feel like a writer on the storm? And here we are all cash thinking about whom to buy.

And you know what? Chicken butt. France may be out of uranium on their own soil. And, as we all know, they are 80% nuke power.

And AKNS now up 12 on their Westinghouse stamp of approval. If only they can now prove they can make money. ZOLT up another 6. LSCG up 18, but Q1 wasn't impressive. And FDEI crawling back. Herd back from company that they're working hard on financial viz and then valuations should come back. Already back to .018 from .015. NWPZ and NEWN up 5.

BYDDF - can you believe Buffett actually bought into a Pink stock - dipped under it's last 200-d line yesterday and still seems to be dealing with that. PSRU down another 7. ALTI in doldrums. And one of the jokers - PWAZ - down 50. INKN down 10.

2P+ This just gets more sickening every day. OK, BP puts a tube up the pipe almost 4 weeks in and gets 20% of the spill collected for themselves. They didn't have a bigger pipe to clamp onto the whole pipe a day after the disaster. Just in case. And just red that BP has 97% of the refinery fines. Put these execs in jail and plug up the farkin pipe.

2P.
USA does the fighting and dying and spending on that but China Offshore and Turkey state oil get the latest Iraqi oil field. I guess that's democracy.

Good news. Oil under $70. Iran-Turkey uranium deal w/ Brazil sounds good too. And GM had a quarterly profit. Man, gotta watch the irrational exuberance. And now China has added 2 more US debt. Why give you the bad news. You already know it.

AEHI down 30. That even might be good news for non-owners of AEHI. ECOS down 25. BFRE 10. Who are they? Little kids on the blocks. ECNG down 6. Hm. They will be building out the Nissan Leaf-US stations this year. And they get off bulletin board listing late this month.

AMSC with new multi-year $450M order from China wind company.

Also, I will never go to a BP station again and predict soon enough we will not see BP signs at stations anymore.

FUND A MENTALS

Our Commerce Sec in China with 24 US clean energy company delegates. Projections that China runs out of their oil and NG resources in 20 years. Past 6 mo China had the largest increase in human-made GHG's in any country in history. The Sec is a Chinese-American. FSLR went. Not all mentioned. And a big prob is getting el from West to East. That tells me CPTC and AMSC. Or there's some new tech to transmit underground at large DC volts.

And oil under $72. Odd? But good. Remember that $80 fig for depressionary.

NJ ran out of solar rebates in 1 day bcuz the gov shifted $158M from the fund to help close $11B state budget gap. And we call them leaders.

O Jeez I missed this one. PWAZ up 240. Percent. Thursday. No news. 6k shares. Zinc air. It always stuck in my craw. Zinc is cheap. So is air. Reality is good. I don't know if up 240% on one trade is reality, though.

ACFN and OESX disappointed on quarter reports. EFOI now up 14% after close. They announced new contracts and quarterly showed much higher sales with a new acquisition though a little more loss.

THOUGHTS AND OR RAMBLINGS

N Korea has figured out nuke fusion. No demeaning meant, but we had that in the 70's. But if they have, they now have the H bomb. Ooo. Even more terror. Next we hear they may astound the world with cold fusion.

Sad sad news the blockhouse didn't work. Now they want to throw golf balls and tire shreds at it. And the entire fishing community of the North Gulf is devastated. Let alone the seashores and wildlife and estuaries. And the catastrophe to come if the Gulf current catches it. And the really sad story is we don't even need oil. If we would just wake up.

O Boys Another Trillion To Spend

Well, clean energy wize, the euro bailout will help our solar stocks some. Hence, yavohl, they are up. Though, surprisingly enough, one with a Greece contract - FDEI - is down. Of course. What's the come and the go. Do we have more confidence now? Did Goldman make enough on the deal? Even the volcano calmed down again. Where's Goldman making money there?
