Post Office trails only Defense in US govt energy use - 42.2T BTU in '10. DOD used 900T. USPS goal to reduce facility E use 30%, vehicle petrol use 20% by '15. They've already reduced facilities E use almost 30% since '03. But using 35% more petrol than in '05 (1M new addresses). If they're not the prime customer for EV's, who is?
