OECD lowered growth forecast for US, Europe. Says US will grow 1.7% this year, 1.8% next, down from previous 2.6% and 3.1%. Europe to grow 1.6% in '11, .3% in '12, down from 2% each year.

Chicago Purchasing Managers Index down to 58.4 in Oct v. 60.4 in Sept. 50 the line between contraction/expansion.

Ethanols still jumping. BIOF up another 31, over double in last 3 days. BFRE up 16 on financing/project news. PEIX up another 11.

QTMM up 20. SPOW up 19. ASPW up 16. CPWY up 15. HEVV up 13. DSTI up 11. NPWZ, MMMW up 10.

BCON bankrupt. Got $67M DOE loan guarantee. Down 72. CWET down 31. CRGE down 19. VNDB down 16. JUHL down 13.

UK plans 55% cut in solar subsidies. Merrill says sell FSLR, down 8. SPWRA also down 8. JASO, CSUN, HSOL down 7. CSIQ, GTAT down 4.
