N Dakota oil production has uber doubled since '09. Wells up 6X. Problem now is getting it out of the state. Rail or truck more expensive than pipeline. BNSF shipping ~1/4. CanPacific ready to begin shipping 35kb/d and expect it to grow to 150k over next few years. ONEOK planning 200kb/d Bakken to Cushing (OK) pipe due online in '15. Enbridge investing $3B in pipe from Chicago to Cushing, adding 585kb/d to current capac.

US debt greater than Eurozone and UK combined. We sure blew it after '00.

"Big Glen" - GE's 4MW offshore wind turbine - passed its initial trial run in a Swede harbor. Direct drive. 35% capacity factor.

GE to supply 1.6MW turbines for 50MW Istanbul project. Turkey wants 20GW wind energy by '23. They're now at ~1.8GW. Country's a very good wind source.
