Turkey began exploring drilling in N Cyprus. Pissing off Greece and whomever else, probably.

India and Pakistan opening up $4B refinery on the border. A thaw in relations. Just don't mention Kashmir. Processes 9M tons of crude/y. By my math 27K bls/y. Not a big number. At all. Check my math.

Drought relief for TX could be only temporary if current La Nina (unusually cool surface waters in tropical Pacific) persists into 3rd year. Also dry great plains. Tho an expert says we are clearly headed out of La Nina at least for summer.

Senate appropriations approved boost of funds for clean E development and search for nuke waste storage.

Both of Cal's nuke plants now shut down after "jellyfish-like creatures" clogged Diablo Canyon intake pipes.

Clean Energy Ministerial concluded in London. Energy, Enviro "ministers" from 22 countries and EU agreed to share efficiency tech, map solar, wind potential, fund low-E flat screen TV and bring "modern" lighting to 2M in India by '16. That's it?!
