(stock #'s in %)
Market up 123/39/16. Volume relatively normal. Oil back up over $99.
Senate reportedly voted against move to end eth subsidy 40-59. Subsidizing the use of food to drive around. I guess we just have to live with it. Aaagh. Tho I must say it's not the worst or craziest thing going on.
And, I'm going to say this again. 10M $30k/y jobs would cost $300B. Can't we think of something that would be worth the money spent for them to do? Can't all our well-paid professors and geniuses come up with something for all the unemployed? Instead of drawing unemployment.
OK, all right, here's the wrap:
BDCO up 42. Well, bodes well for other NG comps (I'm thinking UBRG - up 5). LEXG swung back, up 28. HSOL the big solar winner, up 17; SOPW up 12, CSIQ up 10, SOLR up 9, JASO up 4, CSUN up 3 and WEST came back, only up 2. NENE up 16. Went up and sat there on their big news. RNNM up 15. They have a nice climb out going. SYNM up 14. A punch over all the lines. They put out news in the form of an 8-K that their plant is up to 100% efficiency at 75mg/y. They use anything but food for biofuels, including coal. Their revs will be up a lot if their plant keeps that pace. LEDS up 10. Gap up from continual downing after a recommendation from some house. ZIP up 9 after upgrade from someone. Same thing. You got zip you got ZAAP (up 1) and plenty more. AONE up 4 more. Rumor of deal with one of big car comps in the offing. O yea, MMMW up 44. Froth lives!
VVIT down 31. AEBF down 30. And then the Senate voted? WNEA down 22. HYPF down 20. EVCA down 18. ECOS, AFPW down 16. CPWY down 15. NPWZ down 14. MDTL down 11. ALTI down 3, new low. COMV down 2.
