Australian govt has committed $1.5B to solar projects. A 150MW farm, partnered by BP Solar and Pacific Hydro, to begin construction in '12. Located near substation to grid. Also a 250MW solar thermal - NG hybrid plant from Areva. AU to commit $469M to it, Queensland $75M.
Argentine co-op to invest $80M into corn eth plant to process 300k met tons/y of corn for 125M liters of eth. Production begins 1Q13.
