CLOSE

(stock #'s in %)

Sorry I'm late. I was really into the movie about the battle of Midway. Henry Fonda, Heston, Ford, Mitchum, Holbrook. Stars and stars. But dam, what a battle and victory.

Market up 72/11/10. Volume actually a little heavy for summer. Oil under $95. And stocks got moving.

CBWP, WBRE up 50. Both wind comps. MMMW up 25. Wind too. CRGE up 22. Punch over 50-day lines off the double bottom in the last 2 weeks. CSKH up 21. A thrust back to 50-day lines. MGLT up another 20 after yesterday and VNDB up 20. WWPW up 17. Another wind. A shot up to 200-day lines on volume. BDCO up 16. Haven't a clue. AEBF, PSPW up 14. RSOL up 8. Forming above 200-days. Solar installer in summer. FSLR is back to $130 in 2 days.

FRBE down 47. GSPI, WNEA, WTWO down 20. I was wrong about ABAT. Down another 15 with SNRY. NPWZ down 14. ENER, ASTI down 12. Both bottoming? QTMM down 10. BWEN, FCEL down 6, both on heavy volume. And CREE down 4, a new low.

President's press conference at noon gave us what on the debt limit prob? Or anything? Corporate jet and oil/gas subsidies is what I got out of it. What the hell. OK. Network news says he threw down the gauntlet to Congress to at least stay in session. I don't want to be acerbic. But maybe we need more of the spirit from the battle of Midway. From our leaders. Our warriors certainly have it.
